Engineering Arts is currently seeking Part-Time Engineering Student workers from the ASU Tempe campus. We have several projects in microfluidic instrument development focused on biomedical applications. Candidates with experience and interest in the following areas are sought:

Mechanical Engineering – Design of instrumentation / devices involving microfluidics and robotics.

Nanofab – Development, fabrication assembly and test of silicon substrate based microfluidic devices.

Electrical and Software Engineering – Design and Control of microfluidic instrumentation. Several subproject areas are considered: PC based software controls using C#.NET, NI LabView controls development, Firmware development using C (Microchip controllers) and Machine vision algorithm development for robotic guidance and process quality control.

The part time work will offer you the opportunity to develop and introduce new products with an experienced industry team in small startup business environment. Engineering Arts has lab space at the ASU Tempe campus and nearby for a convenient and great working environment. PhD, Masters and Bachelor degree seeking students in their Junior and Senior years will be considered.

Developing candidates for full time employment after graduation is one of our objectives. We have development teams based in Tempe Arizona and Singapore. This is a unique opportunity if you are considering to relocating to Singapore after graduation.

We will consider sponsoring projects that can also be used for academic credit.
